When Berny got lost!

True Story: Written by: Everyone in Room 1 (Shared Writing)

When Berny went to the Zoo, it was winter. The place was big and confusing, so wild and busy that he forgot everything about the rules, he forgot everything about his friends and he forgot everything about his teacher.  He forgot to line up for leaving and he got lost in the Zoo!

He spoke to the people who would speak to him, and sheltered where he could. Time went by and lots of things happened.  Some made his heart leap, some made him cross-eyed and some made him really scared.  It was all too much for Berny!

Then something terrible happened, the rain poured down on Berny.            He was cold, wet and lost. Then something amazing happened, he just took one step around the corner and came face to face with lots of familiar faces who screamed, “We found Berny, We found Berny!”

 Berny had a huge smile on his face.  His friends and his teacher said “We can’t leave you behind, where have you been?”

 They all went back to school, the teacher said “Thank goodness we found you, we now have all we would ever need to make our class complete Phew!”.

The moral of the story is: Don't get lost when we go out of the school on trips. PLEASE!
